About to order a new clutch, just want to make sure...

When I floor it with the n2o armed I can feel the engine making more and more power, but once I get up to around 5000 RPMs or so all that power that I felt building just diminishes completely and it basically runs stock, I know the kit is working because at lower rpms I can feel the nitrous just starting to hit and the power building (like I already said)... so this would be a bad clutch... right?

If the RPMs shoot up pretty quickly and the car just doesn't go anywhere then you need a new clutch.
Basically, the speedo should climb with the tach. If the speedo doesn't climb up when the tach does, then it's time for a new clutch.

I'm wondering what's the difference between the thin and thick disk clutch.......aside from the thickness.

Thin disk grabs a little harder and is ever so slightly rougher, thick disk wont hold quite as much, but is smoother. If i remember correctly
