75 shot wet kit

I just bought a NOS 75 shot wet kit off my friend.

I was wondering if I could just hook up the NOS only and run it like that. I dont want to tap the fuel line at all. I also have 1 step colder plugs but nothing to retard the ignition timing at all.

Compression test came out good as well just about even across the board. I have a 99 prelude with 56k miles on it. BTW its the automatic also.

After reading the sticky I'm not sure if I should even try to run the 75 shot dry. So I'm thinking if I should just go ahead and get a 50shot nozzle or even a 60.

I have the basic I/H/E as of now.

It won't work. You will need to add more fuel at some point in time. Power is made by being able to burn more fuel, which requires more air. The nitrous basically adds condenced air to allow you to burn more fuel. Dry systems add more fuel via the FPR, and wet systems add fuel through the fogger nozzle. If you don't want to tap into the fuel system I would strongly suggest not running nitrous or any other large power adders, since they will require maintenance and regular checking.

well my prelude isnt a daily driver. I've put on about 9k miles in the past 2.5 years. This was my first car back when I was in highschool so within the first 9 months I put on around 20k.

I dont mind regularly checking hte plugs and such because I tend to only drive her on the weekends.

I guess just to be safe I'll do the wet install and 2 step colder plugs. Thanx for the info guys.

(obviously timing retard would be better, but for those low in case(like me)).

Read what he's asking.

He wants to take a wet kit, and not hook up the fuel line. The reason it won't work has nothing to do with timing, nothing to do with how much he's spraying. It has nothing to do with the heat range of the plugs.

it's the fact that he's not adding ANY extra fuel.

Won't work guy. if you don't want to cut into the fuel line, you should have gotten a dry kit. And frankly, if you really think that two step colder plugs will allow you to hook up a wet kit without the side of the equation that makes it a "wet" kit, you have a LOT of learning and research to do. If you hook that kit up and connect only the nitrous side of it, I don't care if you have 5 step colder plugs. you WILL blow your engine. You have no idea what you're doing, you should really take that thing to a shop.
