$4000 on a stock h22.. now what?

title says it all.. not quite enough for turbo.. so nitrous it is. Engine is completely stock, compression ran exactly 210 across all 4 cylinders.

energy suspension motor mount inserts can be found at your local autozone, pepboys, or kragen autopart store. part number is 161103r for red inserts and 161103g for black inserts. summit racing might also carry them. did that answer your question? LOL.

my proposed setup consists of a mild N/A setup + Nitrous

total come out to about $6500
and that doesnt include labor
granted, some things I will be doing some things myself, like the Nitrous Install and some of the fuel system and ignition components
everything else i cant do so it has to be installed professionally

2phastprelude- the 92-96 inserts will work on your car.

mugenpoweredlude- i did not include labor cause i would do all that on my own. you know it is more satisfying that way, IMO.

Id use my 4Gs for this.....
AEM SR $130
Exhaust $450
Header, cat $650
Exedy Cerametallic clutch $360
Crower Stage 1 cams $550
UR SS pullys $300
Hondata $650 tuned
NX kit and Gen2 $1000
Various parts $60

That makes $4150 which is a little over, but will make a fun car. .You should be able do do some of the stuff yourself. How I figure it is that if you dont do any of the labor yourself that is that much less that you can even get on the car. If you dont want to do any of the labor take the cams off my list.....personally id take the cams and do some labor myself....

seriously come on....you show me 4 tires for $395 and ill show you the ****tiest tires on the planet(assuming theyre 16'' or 17'' tires)
whats the point of having more power if you cant put it to the ground....many people skimp on the tire part during a build-up and they wonder why there car handles like crap and doesnt do good in the 1/4 mile

Khumo 712s were $275 for all four. I stick with 15s though. Not great tires, but they work well for street duty.

man I just bought the new falcons for 600, they are awesome, stikcy icky icky!

But just a quick question, how in the world is 4000 dollars not enough to run a turbo, you can run a turbo on a stock motor safely, you just can't boost in the teens, am I wrong??

That's an AWFULLY ignorant statement. In 16's we have:

Yokohama AVS ES100 -$352 for 4.
Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 - $360 for 4
Dunlop SP Sport FM901 - $364 for 4
Nitto NT NeoGen VR - $344 for 4
Falken Azenis Sport - $356 for 4
Pirelli PZero System Asimmetrico - $368 for 4
Pirelli PZero Nero - $376 for 4
Pirelli P7000 SUPERSPORT - $380 for 4

I could probably find more, but my attention span only lasted long enough to check 2 sites. Just because you like taking it up the butt paying for tires doesn't mean everyone does.

oh and BTW: $580 will get you Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position's in the stock size. $600 will get you Michelin Pilot Sport's. still WELL under $700.

or you could REALLY do it right and just get 2 drag radials for ~300.
