It's somewhat like a car. If it was properly maintained (30k miles maintenence, etc) and properly oiled then it's probably ok. I'd get as much history as you can about it's use. How many miles, if someone idled the car before turning it off so oil didn't build up in the housing and cool down. Make sure the turbine spins without making any clicking noise or stopping abruptly. Look in the housing for any scarring. If your inclined you could also get a rebuild kit and do the maintenance to make sure everything visually is ok internally, especially if it's getting near maintenance time.

If I'm leaving anything off, please chime in :-)

Well that's really up to you. I got mine from far away, but I trusted the person.

I'm not sure on pricing, but half to 2/3rds of original cost depending on use it's recieved is pretty standard for used parts I've bought/sold.

Try turbonetics.com. I got them off the 5th gen mailing list on yahoogroups.com, someone was wanting to sell his kit so I contact him. I didn't really look around.

Honestly I'm not sure what to tell you so you can find one. You might try posting some wanted ads around on boards like this one, *******, hondaprelude.com, etc.
