Where from and what type of Injectors?

Ok I'm starting to round up all the parts I'll need to put in an JRSC-- I got one more question to all those who have upgraded their injectors for a SC--what brand, where from etc. I figure average price to run around $300? Again thanks for all your guys help.

be charged soon enough....

What size depends. How do you plan on controlling the injectors? V-AFC? Have you also considered upgrading the JR AFPR to something like a Cartech FMU? Or are you planning on running some sort of standalone engine management?

I would go with RC injectors (wait, I did go with RC). Go to http://www.rceng.com/ to find out more about their injectors. Don't buy them directly from them, you can find them cheaper elsewhere. Expect to pay upwards of $300, less if you shop around.

Our cars (we're talking about a 5th gen, right?) are designed to use saturated injectors. If you get peak-and-hold injectors you will also need a resistor box for the installation. Do a search, there is plenty of info regarding using peak-and-hold injectors.

Oh, ok, then I would recommend 550's. This will allow you to run the stock fuel pressure (stock fuel pump, stock FPR) and eliminate the need for the JR AFPR. Also, Hondata has a basemap for the JRSC/550's setup. 550's usually come in peak-and-hold (hard to find in saturated), so remember that you would also need a resistor box for the injectors.

I was looking at getting 440 saturated, how much is involved in getting a new basemap for Hondata or would it be better just to get the 550's peak-and-hold and the resistor box (how much does that run?)

thanks again

Hondata also has a basemap for a JRSC with 440's, although the setup requires a higher fuel pressure (they list it as 50 psi on their site). I'm not sure offhand what was done to increase the fuel pressure, whether they just used the JR fuel pump, or if they also installed the JR AFPR, or did something else.

I would suggest contacting Doug at Hondata for more information.

Not sure how much a resistor pack will run you, but as I suggested above, do a search, there is information here regarding them.

for the RC Injectors try going to www.groupbuycenter.com and http://www.importparts.com/importparts.storefront/

they have great prices on them now.

I'll give you a call Derek =P
