I haven't, my last NA motor that came with the car, I beat the HELL out of it. I know I touched red line at least once a day. so at about 130k miles she would "poof" a little smoke when I'd push her.

so seeing that turbo motors have more power, I find I don't even need to push her hard anymore. I normally shift around 5k. at least till somone pulls up next to me

around town,,, about 3-5k before I shift
But I'll still hit redline a couple times a week. I never change my driving habits no matter what I'm driving.

I take out the car aobut twice a week so i'm obligated to hit redline at least once. When the car's cold i shift at 1500 (tranny doesnt like cold shifts, no grinding at 1500 for the 1-2), I usually shift at 3k when warmed up.

I redline every day. I love boost. I'm running .7 bar and EMS. 135,000 miles. If you blow up its just an excuse to build it.
