wastegate springs

i keep hearing people talking about how they want to go from .5 to .7. i was wondering whats the point in going to a bigger spring? does it help?

".5" means half of a BAR. 1 BAR = approximately 14.5 psi of boost. The higher the #, the higher the boost pressure.

You do the math.

so i see. thanks. so i plan to boost 20lbs at the track so i would need a 1.5bar? do they make one?

^^ to get that you would use two springs. a 1 bar spring, and a .5 bar spring, or you could use a .9 and a .6 . you would just have to use one big spring and one little spring. or get a boost controller. if you need a .9 bar spring, i have one brand new. 25$ shipped.

well what comes in the tail 38mm stock as is. i might take it.

u get the wastegate but you have the option of .25bar upto 1.0 bar to pick from so you still have to specify what u need it doesn't come with the .25bar standard, because different people are running different pressure rates.
