So i've parked my 97 sh for the winter and am ready to start in on it. I have the jrsc on it along with i/h/e and the aem pulley on the power steering pump. I'm planning on tearing it down soon to replace the timing belt and fix the oil leak around the bottom of the timing belt cover or somewhere in that area. Since its gonna be apart i'm gonna replace the clutch and flywheel with exedy probably. My question is: What do i need to do to sameguard the motor so that i can run the 9psi pulley. I want to know everything thing down to the most miniscule of details. I want to make damn sure this thing is going to run good and safe after i put this money in it. I dont want to drian my account either so only the nesesaries(bad spelling). Hondata ecu upgrade and 550cc injectors are a must, now what else?
thats all you can do yourself. hondata and 550s (yes right size) otherwise you ahve to build the block and fixing an oil leak isn't the same as pulling the motor do some searches for rebuilds in the FI forum, you'll find a lot of costs and setups. good luck

I quit boost!
how about getting NAWZ? lol...it is has been dicussed whether or not you can spray a small shot of nitrous (10-20) into the blower for a cooling effect. The blower also doubles the power of the nitrous, ie: 20 shot gives you approximately 40whp. I heard as long as you don't shut the car off immediately after spraying, the nitrous won't do any harm to the blower's blades.

What if I'm leaving everything on the JRSC stock, (ie: @6psi), but upgrading to a Hondata s200. I still need 550cc ?

Even if it does not harm the blower, I question how effective it would be, as the majority of the heat is generated internally in the blower. A direct port N20 application would be much more effective, provided you could fit an installation on the underside of the intake runners (it's pretty cramped underneath there).
Pistons, Rods, Sleeves that kinda stuff....If you don't have the Money then don't try it....It won't last with 9 psi without internal work. Especially withthe High IAT's of a JRSC....
