Turbo'ing my auto 4th gen si

I recently put 600 down for a drag turbo at a local speed shop for my 4th gen lude. Are there any other 4th gen auto's on here w/a turbo? Most guys seem to be 5 spd. It's gonna be on stock internals at 7 psi. The guy at the shop said that should be ok on the engine as long as I had a good fuel management system. Is this true? Can my car last a while w/a turbo if im just runnin 7 psi and no more? With a good set up that is?(on stock internals) My car has 72,000 miles on it and it's a 1995. Runs perfect now, but it only had intake/header/exhaust/pulleys. I went thru and read a lot of diff. posts in the archives and some people said no way on stock internals, other said ok if boost isn't high. Am I nuts? Is my car gonna be toast in 6 months even if i get a good set up and run low boost? any advice?

i have a 4th gen auto that's been turboed for about 2 1/2 months. i'm running 7.5 psi on stock internals with a thicker head gasket. i decided to go with f-max instead of drag bc of their quality. for fuel management i decided to just test out the mf2 that comes with the kit and it is actually a really good controller if you know how to set it up. that only thing that is failing on me is my transmission..... surprise surprise. i'm trying to put together all the stuff for a 5 speed swap.... and i'm going to have the place that is rebuilding my engine(when it goes) hook the tranny up.

if i were you i would just pay really close attention to whatever fuel management you have and if anything run rich. what are your options for fuel management anyways? sorry i didn't write more, but i'm tired..........

pm me if you have any detailed questions. i know i had a lot of questions before i got my turbo so ask away.........
