I just wanted to get some input from members who have spent the money to build the block.

I would like to know what company you used and round about how much it ran you. At the moment, I plan on using Golden Eagle and the price for a full build (sleeves, hone/bore, o-ringing the deck, balancing rotating assembly, pistons, rods and bearings, micro-polishing the crank, jet wash clean and full blueprint/assembly and shipped back to me) is 2800.

I have not seen/heard/read negative feedback concerning golden eagle and its services and products and was wondering if anyone one the forum has used them or would recommend a different company with some feedback to back up the recommendation. Thanks everyone!

sounds like a good price for the block.
I have heard good things and bad things about them most of it came from people who pushed the limits or did not put the parts in right.

I have not heard ant thing bad about crower rods or JE or Wisco
