tuning questions im a noob to tuning myself

ok started up the lude after a long time of being down and i got a pretty good base map for a prelude with 7psi on a drag kit which is pretty close to what i have

except i am running a thick head gasket in which case i will need to pull less timing correct?

I noticed when i drove it around the block i had EGTs in the 850's Celcius i think i understand the basics of tuning but i have a lot to learn

so considering i have a map that needs the timing retarded less under boost cause of my head gasket this would cause my high egts right?

just to let you guys know i am not boosting i just wanted to see how she ran considering its still basically untuned

now that i have had a chance to see how a 2.5 hour drive would be untuned i dont want to make that fateful trip even though i have an excellent tuner waiting for me i think i will have money well spent to invest into techedge and tuning capabilities on my hondata but knowledge is limited there so how does someone street tune for timing i understand how to on a dyno but how on the street
