Tial wastegate hitting hood 5th gen?

Hey guys, recently put a turbo kit on my 2001 Honda prelude. It has a cast log manifold and tial wastegate. What are y'all doing for clearence? The wastegate hits the stock hood by about 1/4 inch when it's closed???

what wastegate is it? the tial MV-R (I think thats the one I have) is pretty low profile and a really nice piece.... might get you the clearance you need without hacking up your hood
