Thinking bout the JRSC. Few questions

wondering if its a good deal for a jrsc for 1200 he said thats that he wants but is taking offers so maybe around 900-1000. Im not looking to make 450+ hp or drag race or anything like that, just trying to add a little power for fun and what not.

"I have an almost brand new Jackson Racing S/C It comes with boost controller, bracket, injectors, gauges and everything else it needs to run.. I even have an intake mani that is supposed to go with it and belts"

so im wondering what else would i need. I know about turbos and never cared for sc but now i seemed to changed my mind. so what else would i need? theres a prelude engine management system is that the boost controller? I'm lost but would like to learn.

heres the pictures

also i have the 98 SH obd2 so what else would i need to get it to run correctly after installed? Would it need to be tuned? Would a vafc2 work? or that JRSC engine management all i need?

I've got plans myself for a JRCS early next year so based off my research, you won't need a boost controller since its not necessary. You achieve boost based off your pulley so therefore you'll never go over 6psi.
The JRSC kit should come with a FMU (fuel management unit) which allows you to kinda tune your engine so you don't run super lean or super rich and explode.
The kit is suppose to come with a walbro 255lph fuel pump which i didn't see you list. My nerdy asian eyes won't allow me to see your photos too clearly so i can't confirm what else you need. lol

how many miles are on the SC? any pictures of the Rotors?

Not sure why he says he has injectors as the JR EMU runs the kit off the stock injectors.

For it to work on your SH you would need an oil filter relocation kit.

Like posted above, its missing the fuel pump and the IM adapter has been modified.
Also on a SC the boost is determined by the pulley setup. Stock the JRSC is 6psi, you can get a pulley to take you to 9psi or change your crank pulley and achieve the same thing or make 12psi with the combo of the two.

Now with that said, anything over 250whp is going to throw the ATTS code so your looking at 9psi max with the SC. Most people ditch the JR EMU, and go with a stand alone like hondata or in your case with the SH you will have to go with a piggy back like Greddy emanage ultimate.

Not to threadjack but geramy when did you move to turbo? Got a thread? You had one of the sickest s/c builds I had seen in a while, interested in the new setup
