supercharged 4th gen

I am making this thread to hopefully end most of the debate weither or not the jackson racing supercharger will fit a 4th gen lude, which the answer is yes. Now sadly I can't say weither it will fit those or you with abs. This is also the first time I've made a thread so take it easy on me. if you have a question just ask and I'll see if i can help you out.

First thing I noticed when I treid to search to see if it will fit was people said you have to modify the firewall. That is not correct.

It may be hard to see but you can see that its not near the firewall like people say

I also read someone say they had to use a 5th gen brake master cylender. I got one just incase but did not need it.

Its close but not touching

The only thing that i read that was true is the arm for the belt hits the shock tower.

A few taps with a hammer and its all set.

I hope this helps some people out a little.

Also don't mindthe messy engine bay its being cleaned

Old thread I know but how is the supercharger working out for you on your 4th gen Lude? How much horsepower do you think you are getting with this on your car as well? I am thinking about either the supercharger or turbo but cannot decide yet. I'd like the supercharger but it's the price that has got me. Also how about tuning, did you get it tuned or have you just hooked up your laptop and street tuned it to the best of your abilities?
