stock fuel pump

i've searched and googled and nothing. or the threads got jacked or side tracked with other info than the actual answer.

i just finished my turbo install and was wondering what the LPH is on a stock 01 fuel pump is. would i need a HP 255 running only 7 lbs? or is stock ok? i just put in some dsm 450's in with the box, since the stock 280's weren't enough, and the missing link (just in case) and i had to bring everything back on the vafc for it to even start. now it idles perfect and got it street tuned (pulling the plugs bout a million times till it burned well in the chamber) by a friend at inline pro while i save up for the tune. i running a .5 bar spring (~7lbs) and it runs like a bat outta hell. but im curious to see if i need a aftermarket walbro 255. my goals: just something to cruise the streets with, not looking for a million horsepower or crazy stuff like that. please constructive criticism. thanks in advance.

Are you actually boosting without getting tuned? That's a big no-no. You will probably break your ring lands before you even get your tune done. Stay out of boost.

Regarding the fuel pump, it's a judgment call. If you can't afford a tune, then you probably shouldn't spend money on the pump. However, if you want your fueling to be solid, I would buy a Walbro.

i know well enough to stay outta boost. im getting the car tuned soon. after christmas..thats why i cant do it now. my friend only got it so i can drive it not so i can go racing not too lean and not too rich. im also gonna pick up a wide band to. i got the walbro already. im asking is it worth the effort changing it if the stock pump is fine for the application and if the walbro too much for what i got basically.
thanks
