Well, in preparation for smog, the stock header, cat, and exhaust were installed back on the car today. 98SS assisted in the installation, and because of my messed up back, did more of the work than I did. Thanks 98SS, you were a lifesaver.
The car is sooo quiet now! It seems that I have a lot more low end power now, and the engine revs so much smoother from 2k rpm all the way up to 7.5k. Because I can now actually hear the engine, I can definitely say that there is not one bit of audible detonation (J&S is still bypassed). I may be able to get away with more agressive timing.
Currently, the wideband sensor is out of the car because I do not have a sensor bung for it. I was considering running the wideband 1V emulated output to the stock ecu so I can use the stock location for the wideband sensor and leave the stock primary sensor off, but 98SS has talked me out of doing that. I know that the car is running richer with this exhaust, so for now I'm just knocking off 2% fuel across the board for boost. I'll be able to get the sensor back on later so I can fine tune it again.
Overall, I'm very happy that the stock exhaust is back on the car, and after smog it will remain that way, except I will be installing a Random Tech high flow cat made for the stock exhaust. After installing that cat, I'm going to try running 9 psi again
SS = Super Sleeper
Coming next weekend, the blower is going to be removed so I can unblock the EGR port in the Hondata gasket. The stock airbox will also be installed, including resonator, so I have no issue with that when I take it in for the smog check. I hope the smog guys are stupid enough not to notice that the JR fuel management is not installed on the car

we have no smog test here...
btw are you going to dyno your car w/ all those stock components?
im really curious to see results w/ stock exhaust and air box...

Automatic transmission, stock intake, DC header, stock cat, stock exhaust, and a problematic J&S that caused power loss in low end. If not for the J&S issue I probably would have hit 200 whp.
Just did the same (sorta) by putting my OEM header back on the car instead of the Mugen. Only to realize that my OEM cat has like 3 stripped bolts once I started putting that one. Right now only two bolts are on each side, so I have a "slight" exhaust leak. Hopefully they'll let me pass since the leak isn't audible, just a little stinky. haha
Woohoo! Passed with flying colors. Stupid test only form from the DMV. They'd better not give me it again in 2 years. Since my OEM cat's bolts are really jacked up from behind heated up and being removed so many times. On my carsound I snapped 3 bolts removing that thing! But I passed! hehe
Shark...why Random Tech over Carsound? I've got a used 2.25" Carsound (#94165) dual bung that I was thinking about selling if you're interested. The inlet flange floats and is necked down to 2"ID. The outlet has a 2.25" welded flange on it, but leaks a little (very little) from two of the bolt holes. It probably would work well with a stock or DC header. The inlet is too small for my Mugen though.

Doug, did you notice any signs of overlap between the gasket and exhaust ports when you pulled off the Mugen? I'm currious because when I installed my Mugen, I had to push the gasket up a hair to avoid a 1 or 2mm overlap. I should have just dremelled out the damn gasket
Btw, congrats on passing smog... I just passed too

Really didn't pay attention to that when pulling it off. The cat gasket was on the money but really didn't look at the exhaust port gasket. I'll make a note of that when I put the header back on next weekend. Now I gotta order all the gaskets and other parts I need to put it on right.
