ROFL belts supplied by JR SUCK

OMG LOL

I can't wait to post a pic of my blower belt supplied with the JR kit. I've only used it for about 5k miles, and it DISINTEGRATED. It completely unravelled, if you can imagine that. I put my foot in the pedal, and I had boost, I put my foot in it again a moment later, and I had no boost AT ALL. No noise, no warning of any kind, I just suddenly had an NA car

Good times

Thats why they tell you to change it every 10000 miles, cause their belts suck.

Just curious, but that doesn't cause any damage? I dunno, but if a belt broke on my lude I wouldn't be laughing. But then again I'm not supercharged.

generally belts don't cause too much damage from breaking/snapping, the only belt that can cause some serious damage is the timing belt. In the case of a supercharger belt, you go from having boost to no boost....meaning your fuel settings will suddenly be rather rich, and you have a free-spinning charger, but nothing that is long term (unless said belt somehow went kamikaze on the engine bay )

Holy crap thats funny stuff!!! The pictures are great.

It got me thinking about my pullies. What do you lube the bearings with? Or as long as they're quite, should I just leave them alone?
