hey..i have NGK 8mm spark plug wires right now and i think i should get bigger or better wires...

can sumone recommend good spark plug wires (preferrerably blue) for a turboed car? are ACCEL good wires? I was gonna get magnacore wires but they are red and i'm trying to get blue so i can match my engine bay...

Stock wries are fine. It's unlikely you will get any improvement with aftermarket wires. If you just want them for colour, buy whatever looks good.

Ha ha! I only paid $75.00. I've had them on for 4 years now, and I'll probably be changing back to stock.

Is it recommended to change out the plug wires after 60k? How about the distributor cap/rotor? I think i might be having some misfire issues under boost...what do you guys suggest...

You will be fine with the stock ones if you still have the stock ignition system. Aftermarket ones would be advised if you have an aftermarket ignition that has a higher output. And whatever you do don't buy the OBX ones, they suck. Try changing the cap/rotor and check the wires for the Ohm's (I cant remember the max ohm's but someone might know). The cap and rotor only costs about $25 and will "wear out" before the wires.

Do you think i should replace the cap/rotor before putting on aftermarket wires? Btw, what are good wires for an msd-6 ignition with a high voltage coil? Should i get 8-8.5mm? thx.

Yes, if you have never changed them after 60K miles change them. If that helps your situation then great. If you want aftermarket wires some good brands are listed above. NGK, Accel, Magnacores, and there are others, just don't get the P.O.S. OBX ones there worse than using speaker wire.

I've had bad luck with magnacore wires popping off my distributor, but that might just be me. Actually it happened twice within a year but not once in the year and a half when I first got them.
I got msd's now
