question about future power

so im getting ready to order up a jdm h22 for my 92 lude and build the thing for turbo. i've always run trucks with big blocks so the import world is new to me. i've been trying to do a lot of research on this motor and from searching the last couple of weeks the current parts list i have for the build i want is this:

je forged pistons 9:1
eagle rods
darton sleeves w/flange
garret gt3076r .63a/r
mini me eq manifold
custom 3" dp and exhaust
custom ic with 2.5"piping
havent picked out a wg or bo valve yet
stock head, im, tb
hondata300
alcohol injection
msd ignition

according to my friend who will be building this motor for me, this should put me in 400whp ball park with about 15lb of boost. my question is if i get bored with this much power which i most likely will how hard would it be to get up into the 500whp area later on. i've searched everywhere trying to find out how some of you have reached these numbers. is it just a matter of more boost? or do i need invest in rebuilding the head, maybe have the block bored bigger? this is a project car so i have plenty of time if i need to wait for more money to buy other parts to make this work. i may even just try for more power now if its fairly reasonable and will cost less in the long run. any help is appreciated as i wanna do this right the first time. thanks

I'm surprised no one chimed in on this yet. You should look into building the head anyway for insurance. To hit those numbers you really should get turbo cams, the stock cams are good to ~400-500whp but you'll for sure need cams to surpass that. While you're in there replacing valve seals, guides, etc you can get some forged valves, springs and retainers (which you need to do anyway for cams). A port n polish would be nice and could probably account for maybe 20+whp alone on that kind of boost.

If you plan on sending off the head cccylinderheads is pretty well known for good headwork. Their website has pricing and services if you want to google them. Also, if you are able to get a skunk2 intake manifold and a 70mm+ TB that would be nice too. You might also want to to into venting the crankcase and getting an oil catch setup. There are tons of builds on this site and others of turbo setups and numbers they hit. You seem to have done a good bit of research to come up with the info you have. You are definitely on the right track.
