Question for 1PreLude2NV

I was reading through posts and found your dyno. Very nice numbers!! I may have to get Shawn to tune my car. But I found the part that said they tightened the belt and you gained almost 20hp. My question is which belt was it? I would guess the shorter belt. If so how tight is it now. I was looking at mine last night and it seemed really loose so I tightened it down a little so that it doesn't sag at all but it still has a little give. Is this the way your belt is?

Fear not, O fellow boosted luder, Private Messaging services are still in full effect! Don't hesitate to use them!

I still feel compelled to insert something here, though: there are only two belts that have anything to do the with supercharger, so if you aren't getting the results with tightening just one, you *may* consider trying the other. It really is as simple as that.

On another note, if you don't really have any reason to suspect that you're belts are slipping (not that they simply "look" loose), don't bother to put any further stress on any of the bearings involved by tightening it any further. Use your ear and boost gauge to watch for slipping at higher RPM.

Yeah we actually tightend my Sepertine belt (the long belt, Alternator etc..). The SC belt was pretty tight to begin with. Aye Shawn is a great tuner !! he tuned my Car and my friend JRSC Integra Type R as well.

Unfortunatly the dyno is now gone =( JR and his bud took it out or sold it ... i dont know really... that is the only reason why i dont have my VPAC installed cause i want it to get tuned again.. However Shawn told me that he bought a dyno him self to so it should be in next to the shop soon... you may want to call NRG Performance and see when that would be .
