PS adapter install

JR must be out of their f'ing minds. So they want me to clamp off the reservior hose and proceed removing the pressure side hose off the top of the pump Unless I'm missing something here, PS fluid is going to spew out all over my clean engine bay and AEM pullie. Is there a better way of doing this?

I also don't see the reason why I need to clamp off the reservior line, unless its just to prevent air from entering the system. Bleeding air out of the PS sys. is an easy fix, so I don't quite get the big deal

You don't need to clamp it off. It is not going to spray out, it just dribbles a little bit. It's only under pressure when the pump is spinning

So just a little tiny bit comes out??? I would have thought that the pressure hose on the top of the pump would empty out after I take it off? Not from pressure, but from gravity because I would have expected that line to be filled with fluid. Does it drain back down into the pump or reservior?

Just take it off, have a rag handy, you'll be fine
