Project Turbo H22 head question

Ok I have a fully built h22a bottom end ( Darton MID Sleeves, JE 9:1, scat rods, polished and balanced crank u name it. I am working on the head now valve train will consite of Skunk2 components, with a nice port and polish job. I have two questions #1 is it ok to run Valves .5mm bigger on a turbo project. #2 I have Skunk2 stage1 cams can i use those cams and just get it tunned or just use my stock cams and have them tunned. Would it even make a difference, any help on this matter would be awesome thanks

o. The only cams besides stock i would even think of running on boost are the Crower Turbo cams ... even then im not sure what kind of gains for $$ you would get. Its easier just to turn up boost another pound and save the money.

crower had a bad batch of their stage 2 because of an impurity in the metal. This was corrected and the company has moved on. The turbo cams were never effected.
Every company has problems. Having one doesnt mean the company is crap. Do you think Honda products are crap because of the 02 Si? How about Toyota being crap because of the 00 MR2?

If you feel you need a cam, the Type S would be a good choice.

stock valves. Why oversize? I dont see the point in an FI setup if you throw in the turbo cams which already keep the exhaust open a longer duration.

The only thing i personally would do to the head is springs and retainers, seats etc. and crower turbo cams (or OEM) and leave it at that. A port and polish may help in the upper range but you need to make the decision if that is worth the money.

Crower turbo cams have shown great gains. The individual who tuned my car got an extra 28WHP out of another prelude with the crower turbo cams and a tune.

port and polish will do minimal if anything for a high power / high boost setup.. what you really want is a good seal. for the money a new set of valves.. stock sized.. and a PROPER 3 angle valve job.. will be best.. port flow i reccomend as Tom is a excellent guy..

done, I have decided on Skunk2 springs & retainers w/ ferrea valves std hopefully I will be happy. As for the PnP i think I am going to hold on that and just get a 3 angle valve job and call it a day.

I'm running Ferriea SS valves with Crower Springs an Ti retainers with a Full Turbo P&P. I went 1mm over on the exhaust valves... well, actually Tom at Portflow recommended that.

All the Turbo Tuners I've talked to say to use a set of Stock cams or a set of Turbo cams.. N/A specific cams won't work as well.
