preparing for the inevidable

How much do ringlands/pistons/rods....basically the setup, cost for an H22, assuming you aren't getting all 'race' items.

The ringlands are part of the pistons, they're what holds the rings. Prices aren't exact but close. You might be able to find some no name iron sleeves for less.
Eagle rods: 350
Pistons: 500
Darton Sleeves: 500

teh inevitable is the time and the labor not the parts cost, prepare yourself for some downtime in the months and a lot of labor for the work

My set-up was:

ge sleeves ~1000
pauter rods ~600
je pistons ~600

Plus 800 to bore, hone, balance, polish. Then a couple hundred for bearings and gaskets and stuff. Always a good idea to do water pump, timing belt, accessory belts, maybe oil pump at the same time. That's another several hundred. It adds up quick.

they have a machine shop too, or are you planning on having the sleeving / boring / line boring done by GE or similar?
