i have a jdm Dohc f22b and this winter i plan on building it i will buy a t3/t4 log style turbo manifold, some forged rods, i will bore an hone the motor to fit forged h23 pistons, stg 2 FI cams, upgrades valve train, 68mm tb or should i go bigger?, new water pump, oil pump and timing belt. now I was wondering what would be a good size turbo I am looking to make 400whp if possible and what would be a good size IC and IC piping this will be going into a 1992 prelude SI 4WS. Also i am wondering what size injectors i should use.
P.S. i did search but didn't find to much.
You would probly have better luck in the forced induction section which is really where this belongs. Try asking in there or getting a mod to move this for you.
All it takes is a turbo, a V-AFC to control VTECH, an FMU, and 4 injectors from an eclipse.
Listen to this guy ^^ he knows what he's talking about. He owned one of the nicest 4th gens ever!!! Do lots of research before you turbo your car. The information is out there, and its easy to find.
i know want i need now but i am wondering how much hp and tq this motor will be able to handle will all the things listed above and im gonna use biger injectors than 450cc
Assuming you know what you are doing the correct turbo size for the 400 up mark is going to be either an SC61 or a GT 30r. If you want to stay cheap you can also run a T3/T4 60 trim .72 of higher of you don't mind lag.
