In hopes of fixing my "mooing" issues I bought a used IACV. I slapped it on 2 weeks ago and it idles higher than normal so I tried to lower the idle a bit by turning the idle screw on the TB. lowest I got it down to was 900 Rpms then I threw this code. I then raised the idle up a bit hoping it would fix the issue. cleared the codes drove it for a week and it came back last night.
I was @ idle waiting for a light when the code came up. It basically feels like when the TDC sensor goes bad... in neutral it idles fine but when I'm in gear with the cel it sputters..
My main question is... is the iacv bad? and is anything affected when you spray the valve with either brake cleaner or carb cleaner? or are we suppose to just clean the foil?
