Ok...from what I see (since you didn't clarify it), you have two lines attached to the can. One goes to the breather nipple on the left side of valve cover. The other one goes where? Also, you have a loose hose attached to your air intake tube. Based on what I see... this is all wrong. The way you've got it hooked up "may" be the cause of your oil spitting out.

One line from the catch can goes to the crank case vent and the other one is going nowhere. The one you see not hooked up to anything near the vent is the stock one that gets unplugged. It is not connected to anything. The oil came from the vent as it blew the line off.

So you left the stock line in place that goes from the IM to the pcv valve?

Why did you only attach one line...and why did you attach it to the crank case vent?

The stock one is not supposed to be unplugged. You either leave the hose attached from the intake tube to the crank case vent (recommended method), or remove the hose, plug the nipple on the intake tube, and put a breather on the crank case vent (not recommended).

Re-read my original post on how it should be installed... you did not hook it up correctly.

PCV side. Re-read my original post...

Your catch can "should be" inbetween the pcv system on the right side of the valve cover where the line goes from the pcv valve to the intake manifold. The breather tube should still be connected to the intake pipe (like stock) for positive pressure into the system
