Motor build complete

Well, after blowing my stock motor with the JRSC and JSCR fuel management, I made the decision to have the motor rebuilt bomb-proof. I also wanted to continue using the supercharger. This forum was HUGELY helpful in educating me in what is needed and the best parts to use. The shop I deal with has a master engine builder/tuner and it was great working with him. Here's the lowdown:

- forged mahle pistons and rods
- new valves, intake/exhaust guides & seals, valve grind and machined head
- bored/honed block
- 650 cc injectors
- kamikaze header
- test pipe
- magnaflow straight-through muffler (acting as a resonator)
- flowmaster delta 50 muffler
- kteller 2.5" stainless piping
- water/meth injection
- OBD1 conversion & hondata s300
- ACT clutch & competition flywheel
- wideband, boost, oil pressure, water temp gauges

The result is amazing. hondata engine management is fantastic. The car has WAY more power than before and it is smooooooth. It revs very freely and sounds great. Thinking of going with the Accord pulley to increase boost but I'll wait a few months and see what my tuner says.

Just want to say thanks to you guys on the forum - the info you shared was hugely helpful.

So you're still running FRM sleeves?

Yes still running FRM sleeves. I discussed the option of re-sleeving the motor with my engine builder but he said that mahle pistons with the stock FRM sleeves will be fine. After seeing the pistons and block after the motor was blown, I would agree. The 2 cylinders were lightly scored but the pistons and rings showed much more damage.

I'm from Vancouver and Garage Five built the motor. They have a great reputation and specialize in tuner cars. I would recommend them to anyone in the Vancouver area.
