How do you have the catch can routed? You shouldn't be getting any water in there. I would route it like this if you haven't already: PCV valve==>catch can (should have some baffles in it)==>intake manifold.

I have a jaz catch can..it has a breather integrated into it...i have it in between the pcv and the left side of the valve cover(where the breather would go)...is this the correct way to do it?

Water is a natural by product of combustion and water does get in the oil and crankcase. Your catchcan oil should have a light brownish chocolaty milk look to it. It's normal.

Even though you didn't answer my question...I'll answer yours.

No. The breather side should be left alone, attached to your intake. Quaalude said how it should be done.

I agree with Dirtylude.. and chocolate milk is what I get too.

What about setups that drain back into the oilpan? Is it ok for this oil/water mix in the motor?
