Jrsc map sensor problem

My vacuum gauge reads about 17psi in the manifold, but when i look on my s300 manager on my laptop the map sensor is reading -27psi. The car doesn't like to run good under heavy throttle and am wondering if the map sensor could be causing this. Anyone have any suggestions?
