Intercooler.

Wassup PO,
My turbo kit came with this hand made intercooler and I do not think this would be a good intercooler for any turbo car, so I was wondering if anyone could suggest a brand for a new intercooler, also the best sized for the application...
My mechanics have one for sale and I want to know if I should purchase it. It is a sparco I do not know the size....Thanks in advance for replys...

Alot of people on honda-tech say good things about the JRC intercoolers, and I believe the guy that makes them sells them on h-t as a sponsor. If I didn't have my Greddy intercooler I'd probably pick up a JRC.

I wasn't aware that Sparco made intercoolers. Are you sure it isn't a Spearco?

Spearco seem decent, too. Just make sure it's the right size for fitment, as well as your power goal.

If you dont get JRC, precision intercoolers are another option and also fairly priced
and available at many places/websites. And besides, johnny race car is temporarily closed for now atleast the website is.......

Wich one in particular were you going to buy? Last thing guys, I would like to know how big can I go without cutting the support frame? I have no idea about the space we got in front.

oops sorry

I all ready had it in my garage
I bought the 24x8x3
w/ the endtanks its 30" long so all you would see in the grill is the core of the IC
and dont forget to get the 2.5" inlet/outlet

as for which IC doesnt require cutting the bumper beam....very few and fat between
it would have to be really really small

the one I purchased, I would of had to definitely cut the support beam
