if you're not comfortable with it and fairly mechanically inclined, don't screw around with the fuel system. it's dangerous. needless to say, when you do this, you should unplug the battery, don't smoke, etc. after you are done, you will want to pressurize the system without starting the car several times and check very vigilantly for leaks.
currently there is a fuel return line which goes from the stock fpr to the firewall. unplug that from the fpr. plug it into the "out" side of the vortech unit. then get a new length of fuel line, and plug one end of into the "in" side of the vortech unit, and the other end of it into the stock fpr.
then tee a vacuum line from any boost/vacuum source (i.e. it must be downstream of whatever is generating the boost, the vacuum line which goes to the stock fpr is a good one to use) and connect it to the smaller signal or "boost" source nipple on the vortech unit.
that's it. you need to find a place to mount it too.
