First........ did you win ???

Try Resetting the ECU, pull the 7.5 radio fuse under the hood and leave it out for about 10-15 min, step on the brake to clear the memory.. put the Fuse back in and let the car idle for about 10 min. Dont step on the gas or anything else........ Your ECU may be trying to adjust to the JRSC now.... damn those OBD II ECU's

That may help out since most of us JRSC owners did experince the same thing as you..... I have to do mine everynow and again, but i do it often anyways to keep the ECU from learning..

did it die on you while u were racing? and do u have to push the gas when u start the car from now on? and does it die every time at low idle?...if u say yes to all these, i'm sorry to say man, you now have a fried motor. a ringland probably went out, then messed up that certain piston, which means you have no compression in that cylinder...what was your btw set at? ...this all happened to me to.

Stalling

Knock on wood

I had somewhat of the same problem when my motor went bye-bye.

Was racing through fourth gear, dropped it into neutral to slow down, stalled, and ended up coasting to a stop.

Never started up again. But will soon.

Good luck.

Re: HELP !! my car wont start !

do a compression test. if the numbers are bad, do a leakdown test.

this does not sound good.

UPDATE !

first of all yes i wont the race...13.6 mustang, beat it by two cars..

second of all, after letting the car cool down, i took apart the distributor cap to find ashes...the ignition and coil was extremely hot....

I cleaned everything off, and waited a little and the car started....and is running fine, just wierd idling with the jrsc, im taking my car to my installers on tuesday of next week for him to tune up...

the ecu is not a problem, because i have done the obdII workaround...

i think the car is fine, if the motor was fryed, it would not be running right now....

i think i should upgrade my ignition though, because i know the reason why it wouldnt start was because how hot it was...

you should still do a compression test... idling and trouble starting, even if you found the cause of the latter, could be symptoms of many things.

it sounds like you drive the car pretty hard.
