Ever noticed how your car feels more powerful right after resetting the ecu. Try this........ remove the spark plug wires from the distributer for a moment and re insert them. I noticed it has the same effect. The car feels almost insane(feels like the effect of advanced timing), just as when the ecu is reset. Can someone explain why this happens?

you may have had loose connections that reseating the cables corrected. I don't think removing/reconnecting the plug wires has anything to do with the timings or electronics. At most it would have discharged some charge in the coil.
