h22 head, with a h23 bottom end

i was just wondering, i havent seen this done. ive seen it on one prelude in my life, but the car wasnt on boost.

my questions are

1. can teh h22 head be mated onto the h23 bottom end with out problems... or was that car a one off project.

2. would it be worth it? IMO from reading around, the h23 is better for boost; so the bottom end would go better under higher pounds of boost, fully built or not.

Using an H22 head on an H23 is a common swap. Check the NA Library thread in the NA forum, there should be plenty of info in there on it.

I'm sure you don't realize this, but this is about the most common question ever asked about engine building. There are so many answers to this out there that it's not hard to find the answer.
