H22 crankshaft info

Did a search, couldn't find the answers I wanted.

What is the most Hp an oem h22 crank can take? Im sure i'll be fine, but im just curious to know.

Also, turbo setup in the works, is it absolutely necessary to balance the stock crank, or will it be fine? I want to run 10-12 psi max, looking for 300 whp at least

I sleeved the block, got forged pistons and rods, 8.4:1 comp ratio, ACL race bearings, headwork, daily driver, some track use.

any help would be appreciated,
thanks

Balance and micropolish and you'll be good to go. People have put down some serious power with the stock crank.

I would spend the money elsewhere, especially considering the piston/sleeve issues with these motors. Honda cranks are great units from the factory; most can withstand ridiculous horsepower levels before they fail (think like 500-800). I've read into some of Russ Collins's and Oscar Jackson's builds, and both keep generally recommend keeping stock crankshafts (and even bearings in some cases). A balance and micropolish wouldn't hurt if you have the money and are looking for a tenth or so in the quarter! Good luck!

most people run north of 400whp on stock crank and bearing without any problem, but make sure you get it balanced
