Fuel pressure at idle

I've just recently installed a short sweep fuel pressure gaguge from autometer. I have the sender unit mounted horizontally on the fuel rail. As it stands, my reading is slightly over 25 psi (likely around 30 something) but it is well below the 37.5 mark. When I rev it it moves about a millimeter or so. First of all, what should my idle fuel pressure be at? I am currently running N/A, cuz my manifold has not been made yet. And if my fuel pressure should be higher, what could be wrong? Is it my sender? Any help would be great, thanks!

Re: Fuel pressure at idle

look in your helms. if i remember idle pressure with everything connected is supposed to be about 25-35, and then 10psi higher when you disconnect the vacuum supply hose from the FPR. sounds like everything is fine.
