FPR questions.
im about to install my turbo and bought almost everything i need for it.
but a question came to mind, when i was about to install from one of my friends. they asked will my Walboro fuel pump keep up with the stock fuel pressure. they talked about either getting the fmu and stickign that in with the inline fuel pump? either that or using the gas fuel pump, and getting a FPR.
they asked me to ask u guys b4 we start. need some help ASAP. thanks

IIRC, the Walbro raises the fuel pressure by 2-3psi so a FPR would be needed to bring it back to what you want

OK, what else? You aren't just going to put in a turbo, a high flow fuel pump, and an safc, are you? What is your planned setup?

I wouldnt even think about putting on a turbo with just a SAFC
wait until you can get a standalone, then install everything

Why would you run an FMU with 450 cc injectors? What is the rise rate on that FMU? How are you going to use those injectors, afc hack?

Ok, so you happen to have the Vortech FMU handy, but are not using it with the setup, is that correct? I think you'll be fine with the Walbro in-tank. The limitation will be the injectors, how much power are you trying for?

I'm not sure what you would need an adjustable fpr for, unless you think you need to lower your idle fuel pressure.

Perhaps they meant that the pump will not be able to keep up with high fuel pressures. If you got the Walbro 255 lph high output pump, it would be fine with high pressures.
Did I understand correctly, you are not using the Vortech FMU, correct?

Yeah, I would go with the injectors and the afc hack. I was just making sure you weren't trying to run both the FMU and the injectors
