just wondering who out there is running a turbo or SC and kept the ATTS. It's only good to about 250 HP Right?? Let me know how it's working out for ya.
Not many people run FI due to the limitations of tuning. You will be limited to using the Greddy eManage or other piggy back system. They do their job but if you want better tuning capabilities, you will have to disable the ATTS computer and get a stand-alone EMS like Neptune or Hondata. And even then, you will still have the dead-weight ATTS.
IMHO, you are better off NOT force inducing the SH. You will just run into a lot of headaches with the limitations of tuning.

I do not need to explain anything to you.
My broken wings still strong enough to cross the ocean with.
My broken wings how far should I go drifting in the wind.
Being someone who turbo'd an sh, very shortly, i'd have to second this. Follow the N/A track and when you've reached the end, admit it, accept it and enjoy it. Its very easy to get obsessed with horsepower and not realize you've completely blown past all the realistic goals. Just my $0.02...
Whats a reasonable HP for a NA SH? I kinda want like 250 at the crank. Thinking i might just sell it and get a 300ZX. Will the Z handle like turds compared to the SH??
the atts is like a automatic tranny. it can only take so much.
250 is a number that floats around and for some reason has never had any proof or nothing backing it. (if someone knows of such a person or post verifying, lemme know)
i can beat 300 zx on a race. zx heavier. 5th gen sh preludes are know as one of the best handling FWD cars. It all depends on what you want to do with your car IE: autox, drag race, show car?

The early forum pioneers found out the hard way that 250 is the approx freak-out point. If you search carefully I bet you can find a ref to it somewhere. I remember early in the board history we talked about it.
