i never specified which spring i wanted from fmax and if i remember right the box of the WG says it has .65 bars which is about 9 lbs of boost but on my boost gauge it only says 7..anyone got any ideas why it does this?

Because you loose some pressure running through the piping and through the intercooler. My 6.5psi spring put out more like 4.5 -> 5 before I got a boost controller.

Get a boost controller if you want to raise the pressure.

Couldn't he tap the wastegate into the compressor outlet instead of the intake manifold to retain 9-lbs and not lose any through the intercooler and piping?
