First time JRSC User? Time/WHPTQ/More Boost ?

I might be getting a JRSC for my lude.

Only reason picking JRSC over turbo is because its less maintence and less expensive in long run.

I was wondering, what kind of 1/4mile time can I expect with JRSC @ 6psi?
Is 6psi stock JRSC boost number?

Also, I've seen some JRSC 6psi dynos. Around 220whp/190wtq average. Is this accurate? If you bolt-on JRSC with not much work, is that how much I can expect?
What do I have to do to run more boost? would pulley upgrade require other upgrades?

Few more, JRSC is called "Bolt-On" right? What other parts do I need?
Do i need to upgrade fuel setup, adjust A/F ratio, dyno tune?

ANY decent advice on JRSC is apprecaited. Thanks.

I tried to read the "All about JRSC" article in forced induction archieve, but links are all broken..

6 psi is default JRSC, you can change pullies and stuff if you want more i believe. Quarter mile times are usuallly high 13's, and the average dyno i've seen is around 230 whp, and pretty much same torque, so it's pretty accurate. Don't forget about getting a VAFC and dyno tuning the SC. I've heard lude with SC's untuned get RAPED by the tuned ones. I'm starting to lose track of your questions but, this is what you'll need, anyone else add more:

Header / High Flow Cat / Exhaust / Intake / VAFC or Hondata or AEM EMS / Fuel Pump / Boost Gauge is what i know off the top of my head. I also know that JR provides a fuel pump with their kit if you buy it new. You don't really 'require' anything with the SC, but if you want to get some power, you need to do the extra stuff heh.

and motor mounts, an SC luder out there said that they really helped him get power to the ground better. I'm not sure what motor mounts really are, but he said htey were like $25

Emerald99, thanks alot bro. That pretty much covered everything I asked.

Just to make sure, so thats all you need in order to run JRSC on a lude proper?
Thats pretty minimal compare to turbo..

I have DC Header/Tanabe Ti Medallion/AEM V2 as far as performance goes. Can all 3 mods be coped with JRSC and be used without having to replace them?

Thanks!

Yo, Silverbullit's talking about a thread called JRSC Lexicon, it's pretty good, it's a sticky around the top of the forum. Anyway, your mods are good, I've heard of people having to modify they're CAI slightly, but I don't know what that constitutes, you might have to modify the V2 slightly too then, you'll have to find out more on that. if you get an answer, post it, i'm interested in finding out...

::EDIT:: If I were you, I would sell the DC Sports Header, and get a Kamikaze when you get your SC. Kamikaze will get you some good gains compared to DC Sports, I know that for sure.

::EDIT 2:: Kamikaze Header runs for $250 and is great for FI applications, I think DC Sports is geared towards N/A setups. So with the money you could get for your DC Sports, you could easily get the Kamikaze.

You must not have looked very hard or long...

JRSC Lexicon

I've done a lot of research on the JRSC, so I'll share what I've learned:

- The JRSC kit comes with everything you need to get it running. That includes the
supercharger, belts, FMS, and other necessities.
- Kamikaze headers are said to give good gains with the JRSC setup, as stated above.
- You will probably want to dump your current exhaust and go for a full 2.5" exhaust. You can also upgrade to either a hi-flow catalytic converter or test pipe to maximize gains.
- I would recommend saving up some extra money for a better EMS, such as Hondata, Greddy's E-Manage, or the AEM EMS. Keep in mind that if you switch to
any of these EMS's, you will lose ATTS if you have an SH. You will be able to
more finely tune your engine and probably make better power.

(Sorry for the stupid typing above... its late and I'm retarded. )

There is a lot more to a SC then just slapping it on... If you are running lean (which a fair amount do) you are going to have to change your fuel setup. So on top of getting a stock SC installed, you should have extra money put aside to modify your setup if needed. Aside from that, SC'ing your car is a lot of fun.. I miss mine..
