Finally Chose My Turbo !

Well ive been looking at alot of different turbos, the t3/t4 bb, t04, t60-1, and i was pretty much settled on the t3/t4 until i read a post about this new garret gt30 dual ball bearing turbo. I even looked at some HKS turbos, but i dont think it really can compare to the bang for the buck when you compare the two...
Picssorry kidkutz for stealing your pics)

t3/t4 vs GT30

The specs on mine are:
T04S
.70 A/R Compressor Housing
56 Trim Compressor

T3
.82 A/R Turbine Housing
84 Trim Turbine
Here is what some people have to say about this turbo :
http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=230521
This turbo can easily support 500-550 whp adn it will have quick spool up time. HKS doesn't make a T3 based turbo that even comes close to these specs. Most of the HKS turbos are T25/T28 based turbine housings. Wish me luck

T3
.82 A/R Turbine Housing
84 Trim Turbine

Man I think you'll need at least 5500- 6000 rpms before hitting full boost using .82 turbine. Is it not available with a smaller turbine A/R????????

you don't need to get the .82 a/r on the turbine. you may want to go with the .63 a/r
