FI newbie, going w/ JRSC what else do I need

I thinking about going with a supercharger and I was wondering what else I need to get including the kit. New CAI, gauges, ecu, fuel pump...what else did I miss?

I just caght your thread regarding an NA buildup in the NA forum. Keep in mind that whatever work you do to your head for NA will not necessarily transfer over well to an FI setup. In particular, the skunk2 cams you were considering in your other thread would not work well at all for FI (too much overlap).

the kit comes with a fuel pump, and you only need an "ecu" if you aren't satisfied with the fuel management included in the kit. many aren't.

for gauges, i'd recommend an in-cockpit fuel pressure gauge, o2 gauge, and boost gauge.

I plan on going FI with the JRSC sometime next year, if things go well. But I've already done a ton of research on this. If you go through the sticky at the top of this forum, there is a wealth of information. Its awesome.

Why do you need a new CAI? Do you have one already?

^^Would I need to modify my existing CAI in any way? I thought I would have. I'll read the stickies, but thanks for steering me in the right direction.

yes, you'll need to cut it. if you got a new one, you'd need to cut that one too. not sure why you'd get a new one.
