Fast Automatic

I think having a fast automatic prelude would be kind of fun and diffrent. I mean, kinda like having a fast civic dx, no one really expects it, you know??

i know that i would be faster with a 5speed but, after dumping 2,000 into body mods on my car im not ready to sell this one or go through the hassle of a swap, plus im lazy when it comes to driving sometimes.

so this is what i've been thinking:

JRSC SuperCharger 9lb Boost
Level10 Torque Converter
Level10 PTS Kit (or some other kind of tranny rebuild)
i/h/e
pulleys
cam gears
stand alone fuel man.
upgraded fuel and igniton system

so what do you guys think?? is it worth it?????????????
13's??

Yah, I wouldn't recommend boosting more than 6 psi on stock internals.

Cam gears are not going to work easily with the JRSC. The plate that holds the drive belt idlers for the "wall of pullies" is right in the way of being able to get to the cam gear bolts. One would have to disassemble quite a bit just to adjust them once, then reassemble to try the settings. It is a shame because I believe tuned cam gears would be valuable to a JRSC setup.

is it worth it? depends on how much you enjoy driving your car I guess. I just spend about 6k on my turbo project and I'd do it again...

My JRSC setup is running me about 6K, and it hasn't even been installed or tuned yet. I regret nothing.

Yeah, believe me, it is worth it to have a fast automatic, no one believes you until they actually see that sport shifter sitting there, staring them in the face...THEN the excuses come as to why they lost to and AUTO Honda...ummm I missed a gear, my clutch is bad, my tires are bald, my car isnt tuned right now...

quick Q

I was looking into torque converter upgrade at level10... but they require yo to send your stock TC to upgrade it directly....

I'm not too familiar with this, but is that the only way to get it upgraded? don't they or anyone have a bolt on piece? sounds like a big PA
