Exhaust Flow

When you building your own down pipe, I understand bigger is better for turbo response. I already have a 2.5" cat-back exhaust on the car will having a 3" down pipe that reduces to 2.5" at the cat flange make a difference or should I just keep it all one size??

3" all the way works best but some setups to go 3in to 2.5in Dyno would ofcourse give u proven results.....im planning on 3in all around tho!

Run the largest downpipe you can fit. You will see an improvement, even with a cat-back of 2.5".
