the 3" thermal is well known and used by many FI honda guys, but there is no application for a prelude. consensus is that it's LOUD AS ****. if you're running a turbo, perhaps it's acceptable. on a JRSC, i bet it would be ridiculous.
i have the smaller thermal (only one available for the 5th gen), and got no gains at all from it, except noise gains. it is also loud in an extremely irritating way. not recommended except for looks and build quality. in my case, the stock cat and header may be more restrictive which prevented gains.
