engine managment??????

ok I know this is kinda being discussed a whole lot nut i have some questions I need you guys help with. I currently have a 2001 SS turbo lude. I want to upgrade the fuel managment. I originally wanted the HOndata but to my horor found it is not compatible with the auto tranny. So my options are EFI PMS which i dont know much about and could use some info on it. I want the Greddy Profec e-01 so the E-manage is an obvious choice but not a person on this board has used it with maybe the exception of turboevo who has yet to let me know how he likes it. The AEM which i think isnt compatible with the auto either. Also I think im missing one. What is good, easy, reliable, cheap, please any input from the guys who already have this stuff or know about it would be awesome.
Thanks your fellow luder in need James

The AEM EMS is compatible with auto ludes. I think the e-manage would be a good route to take if u decided to not go with the AEM EMS.

Well, apparently some shop got the EMS to work with the auto lude. That doesn't mean it was entirely plug and play. I haven't looked into it yet to see what exactly they did to make it work.

We've discussed the PMS quite a bit, so I am going to start you off with some links to info. If after reading you still have questions, feel free to ask.

I'll look over the EMS auto prelude map and compare it to mine and tell you guys how they set it up to run on the auto.

It is the AEM site that is very uninformative about the EMS. The EFI site has the PMS user manual posted in PDF format. I suggest you read it. As for the differences, it is night and day. The EMS is so much more functional than the PMS as far as control and features. If you were to go with the EMS, you would be ditching the e-01 as the EMS has full boost control. There also would not be a need for a J&S with the EMS, as it has knock control as well.
