Emissions...?

Please forgive me if this question has been asked dozens of times but I couldn't find my answer doing a search.

I am seriously looking into turbo for my 95 SI. The only thing holding me back (other than fundage) is whether or not I can pass emissions. How do all of you that already have turbo do it?

This may be a dumb question, but like I said, this is the only thing holding me back from doing it. If I find out that I can turbo my car and pass emissions, the it's ON!

Thanks for tolerating my ignorance.

In Cali it cost two hundred dollars for an illegal smog check.

Just a $200 fine, no fix it? The reason I ask is because I will probably be moving to San Diego in January.

We do have pretty strict emissions here in Colorado. Denver is famous for being the Mile High City, but also for it's brown cloud. Unless the wind is blowing to the West, we have pretty bad smog, especially in winter.

Thanks for the help!
