electronic exhaust cutout

I have really been diggin this guys turbo setup on honda-tech, especially his exhaust setup. hes running a stock exhaust, with the piping welded to a 3inch dumptube to an electronic cutout.

heres the pics

its cool has how can still use the stock cat and everything too. he says with the cutout closed, hes boostin 4psi, then with a flip of a switch to open exhaust, talk about sleeper.

my question is that since im plannin on goin with the greddy kit now(legal soon i hope), would i be able to do this same setup? im not sure of how the downpipe plumbing is, and would like to mimic this same setup. would there be enough room to do this? or how would everyone else suggest i run this cutout? if anyone has pics of the greddy dowpipe, that would greatly help.

TIA

Well, I think it would be pointless modifying the Greddy downpipe. To make it effective, you would need a similar setup. 3" downpipe with a smaller branch off. Totally custom. I'm not certain if it's worth it for low boost and on that small a turbo. I know that guy runs serious boost pressure, and that's a big turbo.

My 2.5" exhaust and cannister looks so much like a stock exhaust, Nobody is going to think it's not stock unless they knew what they were looking for.
