Ebay Turbos.....complete waste of time or not?

eBay Motors: JDM'S 92-01 PRELUDE VTEC DOHC H22 T3/T4 T04E TURBO KIT (item 110302355125 end time Oct-25-08 19:08:42 PDT)

looking at this and other turbos on ebay, because im fed up of the ridiculous greddy and rev hard prices. are the ebay turbo kits a complete waste of time and money even if proffesionally installed?

how about you buy it and tell us. I've said it once and i'll say it again, if you are trying to save money while doing a turbo build you dont need to do it. You need to set aside roughly $4,000 for anything that comes up. Also, don't think an FMU and V-AFC is enough to get your fuel where it needs to be. Buying and ECU and getting tuned is NOT an option, it's a necessity.

E-bay brand turbos are known to miss parts, be shoddily built, not balanced, and have leaking oil seals almost instantly. I`d steer clear like others have mentioned.
