I think this would make a nice sticky in the forum, everyone should contribute.

vir2L, please find the time to scan it and post it here, I would like to see the torque curves of other boosted SS ludes.

I'll try. Maybe tommorow, since its a half-day of school. I hope I didn't lose it, but its floating somewhere in my jungle of paper. I don't want to go back and pay another $50 for two runs.

EDIT: I just found it in a trash-can, getting ready to be thrown out. Glancing over it, there are some differences between my graph and yours. You lowered your VTEC to around 4.5, wheras mine is at regular 5-5.5. I'm making maxPower at around 6.7, and maxTorque at around 5.3 rpm. For my power, my line is almost completely linear to start off. I'll try to scan it tommorow at school. The shop couldnt get the A/F sensor to work, so I couldnt get any A/F readings. So for now I have to go off the A/F gauge.

Thanks, vir2L, that helps me out quite a bit. If you compare yours to mine, you can see that below 4.5k rpm you have a flat torque curve, whereas mine has a large dip. I was thinking that my dip was due to torque converter slipage, now I know it is just a tuning issue. Thanks for posting it up.

Do you think the graph looks alright? Do you think lowering VTEC will give me a significant increase in whp and torque? And you are making about 10 more ft-lbs than me....could this be attributed to tuning?

Without an a/f curve, it is hard to judge how the dyno looks. The curves look smooth, and that is a good sign, although increasing the vertical resolution of the graph might have revealed that they were not as smooth as they appear. Lowering vtec allows you to smooth out the transition between the cam lobes, and will not necessarily increase the peak outputs. With the vpac, stock timing is allowed when vtec is activated (the function of the btc is bypassed), making more power on the high cam lobes. However, this isn't exactly safe, which is why I recommend not using the vpac. I'm not sure why I'm making more peak torque than you, it is hard to say since my setup was no where near fully tuned. I might actually end up producing even more. We'll see. What I need to figure out now is why I'm having a problem with my torque curve at the lower rpms.

300 whp on a custom set-up. The tiny t3/t04b was holding me back, so I bought a t3/t04e 60 trim. Hopefully that should yield some better numbers. I might go to a bigger intercooler too.

Here is a brief set-up:
-sfp manifold
-3" dp, test pipe, exhaust
-hondata 3b
-ge sleeves
-pauter rods
-portflow head
-je 9:1 pistons
-drag gen 4 intercooler
-custom ic piping
